Job summary

Sunbelt Staffing seeks an onsite School Psychologist to support students in a Burlington, CT school for the 26/27 school year. The role is Monday–Friday, 8:45am–3:35pm, with a small caseload and collaboration with families, staff, and interdisciplinary teams.

You will conduct evaluations, participate in IEP meetings, provide counseling, crisis intervention, and consult on behavior plans. Strong documentation and advocacy are essential, with competitive health benefits and retirement options

Qualifications

• Requires CT Educator Certification
• Master's or Specialist-Level degree in School Psychology
• Knowledge of psychological assessments, special education processes, and IEPs
• Strong communication, consultation, and advocacy skills
• Previous experience in a school setting preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations and assessments to support academic, social, and emotional growth
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with staff and families
• Provide individual and group counseling as needed
• Deliver crisis intervention and connect students with resources
• Consult with teachers and administrators to develop positive behavior interventions
• Maintain accurate records and documentation per school/district standards
