Job summary

E-Therapy is seeking an onsite School Occupational Therapist (OTR) in Aurora, IL for the 26/27 school year. The role requires IL OT licensure and NBCOT certification, with a starting wage of $45 per hour and full-time hours (37.5 per week).

You will deliver OT services to K-5th grade students in resource and self-contained classrooms. The position focuses on developmental and functional goals, collaboration with school staff and families, and participation in IEP meetings.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy is required.
• Current state OT license and NBCOT certification required.
• Experience in school/preK-12 settings preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with students, families and school staff.
• Familiarity with assessment tools and pediatric therapy techniques preferred.
• Knowledge of sensory integration therapy and handwriting interventions a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct evaluations of students' motor, sensory processing and functional skills.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with goals in collaboration with students, parents and staff.
• Implement evidence-based OT interventions to support skill development.
• Monitor progress and adjust plans as needed.
• Provide consultation to teachers and staff to promote student participation in class.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to education plans.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress.
