E-Therapy in Yreka, CA is hiring an onsite Occupational Therapist to support PreK-12 students for the 26/27 school year. The role is full-time, 37.5 hours per week, with a starting pay of $57 per hour and experience-based advancement.

The successful candidate will conduct evaluations, develop goals, implement interventions, participate in IEP meetings, and collaborate with school staff while maintaining documentation and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy or related field.
• Must hold valid state license as an Occupational Therapist (CA).
• NBCOT certification required.
• Experience in school or pediatric settings.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
• Develop individualized treatment plans and goals in collaboration with students, parents, and school staff.
• Implement evidence-based occupational therapy interventions to address students' specific needs and promote skill development.
• Monitor and document students' progress towards goals, adjusting intervention plans as needed.
• Provide consultation and support to teachers and other school staff regarding strategies to promote students' participation and success in the classroom.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure holistic support for students' academic and functional needs.
• Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of students' education plans.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and other required paperwork.
