Job summary

Limitless Endeavors seeks a knowledgeable and patient tutor to provide one-on-one or small group academic support for students in targeted age and grade groups. The tutor will clarify learning problems, assist with study skills, test prep, and homework assignments, with sessions onsite at Prince George's County Public Elementary Schools during the 2026-27 school year.

This independent contractor position offers a flexible schedule, training and development, and wellness resources.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; active teacher's certificate, college coursework or degree in Education or relevant subject preferred.
• Prior tutoring, teaching, or mentoring experience is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of subject matter and curriculum.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic assistance in subject areas to students from targeted age and grade groups.
• Design and implement effective lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
• Monitor student performance and communicate progress to parents, teachers, or supervisors.
• Support students in developing study skills, organization, and time management.
• Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment.
• Maintain confidentiality of all student information.
• Schedule and conduct regular tutoring sessions in-person.
