Limitless Endeavors in Washington, DC is seeking a passionate Academic Tutor to provide personalized academic support and help students reach their full potential.

You will conduct one-on-one and small group tutoring across various subjects, assess student needs, and develop customized learning plans while tracking progress and maintaining records. Flexible work-from-home options are available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or related field preferred.
• Active teacher's certification.
• Prior tutoring/teaching/mentoring experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of core subjects (math, reading, writing, science).
• Excellent communication, patience, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
• Reliable, organized, and self-motivated with good time management.
• Passion for education, youth development and community impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions across a variety of subjects and grade levels
• Assess individual student needs and develop customized learning plans to address academic gaps
• Track and monitor student progress, adjusting instructional strategies as needed
• Communicate regularly with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student development
• Create engaging and interactive learning materials to support comprehension and retention
• Foster a positive, encouraging, and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate records of sessions, attendance, and academic milestones
