Job summary

Marous Brothers Construction is seeking a Safety Coordinator for a $100M+ Student Housing project on The Ohio State University campus. This on-site role drives safety programs, coaching, and compliance right on High Street.

You will implement SSSPs, perform JHAs, risk assessments, and incident investigations while partnering with superintendents and subs to keep crews safe and productive. OSHA 30 and First Aid/CPR are preferred qualifications.

Qualifications

• Strong working knowledge of OSHA construction standards (29 CFR 1926).
• Ability to develop and enforce Site-Specific Safety Plans (SSSP).
• Experience conducting JHA/Risk assessments for construction activities.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety on the jobsite with hazard spotting and OSHA alignment.
• Perform inspections, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Deliver safety orientations, toolbox talks, and site training.
• Monitor subcontractor safety compliance and enforce expectations.
