Job summary

Keeley Construction is seeking a Site Safety Manager for an 8-month project in Hillsboro, OR. You will lead day-to-day safety efforts, ensure OSHA compliance, and collaborate with project teams and subcontractors to enforce safe work practices.

Ideal candidates have 7+ years of site safety experience, strong knowledge of OSHA standards, and proven leadership abilities to drive a culture of safety on site. This is an on-site, heavy industrial/mechanical construction role in Oregon.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of site-level safety experience in construction or industrial environments.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA construction standards and hazard recognition.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills to influence on-site safety behavior.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day safety on active construction sites, ensuring compliance with policies and OSHA regulations.
• Lead safety meetings, toolbox talks, and pre-task planning.
• Develop and implement site-specific safety plans and ensure adherence throughout the project.
• Maintain safety documentation, incident reports, and training records.
• Coaching subcontractors on safe work practices and verifying PPE usage.
