ESFM is seeking a Safety Facilities Manager in Florence, KY, to reduce claims and injuries by providing safety and workers' compensation support to local units. Responsibilities include training, site visits, policy implementation, reporting, and ensuring client safety program compliance.

The role requires coordinating with local teams, delivering safety materials, and following OSHA/DOT/EPA regulations. Strong communication, presentation, and investigative skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
• Experience implementing occupational health and safety programs.
• Ability to conduct investigations and evaluate cost and risk factors.
• Ability to interpret and apply a variety of laws, rules and regulations.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

Responsibilities

• Ensures facilities comply with OSHA and safety/workers' compensation procedures.
• Maintains ongoing safety awareness programs to promote a safe work environment.
• Assists in development and administration of loss prevention programs.
• Trains managers in safe work practices and injury prevention.
• Provides monthly status reports to local management.
• Conducts safety inspections and hazard rectification.
• Maintains OSHA recordkeeping and prepares annual reports.
• Monitors workers’ compensation trends and injury management.
