Job summary

Advanced Roofing Inc is seeking a Safety Coordinator in Fort Lauderdale, FL to conduct jobsite safety evaluations and enforce OSHA regulations. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate's degree, 1-5 years of safety experience, and be bilingual in English and Spanish. Responsibilities include safety training oversights, accident investigations, and maintaining safety documentation. Qualifications

• 1-5 years in a safety-related position.
• OSHA 10 or 30 Hour certification preferred.
• Construction or General Industry Safety field experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct jobsite safety evaluations.
• Enforce OSHA regulations and company policies.
• Track employee training and certifications.
• Conduct accident/injury reporting and investigations.
• Lead safety stand down meetings and toolbox talks.

Skills

Bilingual English and Spanish

Strong computer skills (MS Office)

OSHA 10 Hour knowledge

Ability to lift 100 lbs or more

Comfortable climbing ladders up to 60 ft tall

Proactive communication

Education

Minimum Associate's degree or Trade/Technical school
