Job summary

Anaergia seeks a on-site Resident Engineer in Carlsbad, CA to lead site activities from establishment through commissioning. You will coordinate engineering work, manage the project schedule and budget, and ensure quality and safety compliance with contract requirements.

The role requires a technical degree in Civil, Mechanical, or Chemical Engineering, 10+ years of industrial project experience, and fluent English.

Qualifications

• Holds a technical diploma or graduation in Civil Engineering / Mechanical Engineering/ Chemical Engineering, or equivalent.
• At least 10 years of progressively complex Project Engineering in the Industrial Plant business.
• Travel up to 20% may be required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all Engineering activities to complete the design of the project.
• Lead engineering team and review third-party design documents and equipment proposals.
• Maintain regular design review meetings and provide risk assessments and mitigation.
• Support site manager and subcontractors with technical questions.
