Job summary

Addison Group in Oklahoma City is seeking an experienced Reservoir Technician to support the engineering team. The role centers on managing well, production, and reserves data to inform reservoir decisions.

You will build dashboards, run analyses, and collaborate with geology and operations to optimize asset performance and identify drilling opportunities. Strong Excel/SQL skills and data visualization experience are essential.

Qualifications

• At least five years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Five+ years in an engineering technician, reservoir technician, geology technician, or analytics role in oil and gas.
• Reservoir support experience preferred; geology or analytics backgrounds may be considered.
• Strong familiarity with reservoir concepts and data supporting business decisions.
• Ability to navigate technical applications, perform queries, data extraction, and analysis.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Access, and PowerPoint.
• Experience building dashboards or data visualizations.
• Exposure to AI tools for reporting or workflow improvement is a plus.
• A college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and validate technical data for reservoir analysis and production evaluations.
• Maintain engineering databases and resolve discrepancies to improve data accuracy.
• Retrieve and analyze information from databases and applications to support projects.
• Develop dashboards, presentations, and reports communicating performance trends.
• Assist engineers with evaluations of wells, reserves, and development opportunities.
• Collaborate with engineering, geology, and operations to address reporting needs.
• Identify opportunities to streamline data workflows and reduce manual reporting.
