Job summary

Northrop Grumman Missions Systems seeks a skilled Systems Engineer to drive requirements development, test case creation, and verification/validation of system requirements. You will lead an Agile team, interfacing with the Chief Engineer and customers to deliver mature solutions.

Responsibilities include managing baselines, writing DOORS requirements, and presenting technical information to stakeholders. Must be a U.S. citizen with active clearance and onsite work in Woodland Hills, CA.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in STEM with 12+ years of engineering experience, or advanced degrees with reduced years.
• Experience in technical baseline management and writing/updating DOORS requirements.
• Experience in System Engineering activities: software requirements, test case development, verification & validation.
• Excellent written and oral communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Identify and flow requirements from customers into design documentation.
• Lead agile teams to ensure designs meet system requirements.
• Present capabilities, analyses, and verification methods to customers and leadership.
• Generate and manage multiple requirements sets across interfaces and data needs.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to verify requirements via inspection or testing.
