Calvert Masonry Inc. is seeking an experienced Estimator to manage complex bids for renovation and restoration projects from early estimates to pricing development in our Manassas, VA office.

This full-time, onsite role emphasizes precise quantity surveying, cost evaluation, and transitioning bids to project management for long-term client satisfaction. The ideal candidate has 10+ years in construction estimating, strong communication with clients and vendors, and the ability to manage multiple

Qualifications

• 10+ years in construction estimating, renovation/restoration focus.
• Experience with price development and pricing strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple estimates independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough quantity surveys for restoration and renovation projects.
• Interpret site constraints and pricing impacts.
• Master internal estimating software and produce professional bids.
• Evaluate scaffold/equipment costs and production requirements.
• Apply historical data and market dynamics to pricing.
• Maintain bid documentation and client communications.
• Transition awarded bids to project management with detailed handover.
• Support supplier coordination and vendor relations.
• Mentor junior estimators and contribute to team development.
