Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a CRA 2 with 2 years of monitoring experience for a hybrid role with oncology focus. The position involves 8-10 days on-site per month in the San Francisco area or West Coast, with a mix of onsite and remote work and up to 60% travel.

You will monitor study sites, ensure regulatory compliance, maintain study files, and contribute to data integrity and SAE reporting while collaborating with the project team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Clinical Monitoring experience.
• Bachelor's degree or allied health certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of site monitoring, including routine monitoring, site close-out, and initiation visits.
• Manage project plans and site management activities.
• Conduct general on-site monitoring and ensure protocol adherence.
• Verify informed consent procedures and patient safety per regulatory requirements.
• Review and ensure data integrity on CRFs and data collection tools.
• Monitor data for missing or implausible entries.
• Support SAE reporting and narrative development.
• Coordinate training for new staff on monitoring procedures.
• Assist with local project coordination and client liaison where needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
