Job summary

Fortrea is seeking a CRA 2 with 2 years of monitoring experience to join our oncology trials in the San Francisco, CA area or broader West Coast. The role blends on-site and remote work, with roughly 8–10 days on site each month to support study needs.

You will oversee site monitoring, ensure protocol compliance, manage data integrity, and contribute to safety reporting. Travel up to 60% of the time, including domestic and occasional international sites, with a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2 years of Clinical Monitoring experience required.
• Nursing licensure or allied health certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% (60% overnight travel).

Responsibilities

• Responsible for all aspects of site monitoring including routine monitoring and close-out of clinical sites; maintain study files; conduct pre-study and initiation visits; liaise with vendors.
• Responsible for all aspects of site management as prescribed in project plans.
• General On-Site Monitoring and ensuring proper materials and instructions for entering patients into the study.
