Job summary

Acuren is seeking an Operations Manager to lead the delivery and sales growth of our services in the region, overseeing safety, quality, and financial performance while providing strategic solutions to clients.

This onsite role in Davenport, IA requires building client relationships, managing field staff, coordinating resources, and delivering projects on time and within scope. Strong leadership, sales acumen, and CRM experience are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in mechanical contractors, power generation, refineries, or large industrial ops.
• Experience in sales, marketing and business development for technical service companies.
• Minimum 5 years operational experience, 3+ in supervisory roles.
• Proven success selling to engineering/operating managers in large industrial firms.
• Experience with CRM or related sales systems.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of technical services within the assigned geographic area.
• Hire, retain, and manage staff with the needed technical and safety qualifications.
• Schedule manpower and ensure resources are available and audited.
• Visit sites to ensure projects stay on schedule and within scope.
• Manage safety and quality programs and continuous service improvements.
• Develop growth programs and promote regional service offerings.
• Prepare price estimates for complex work packages and manage budgets.
• Utilize site metrics to improve productivity and customer service.
