Job summary

Mass General Brigham Community Physicians, Inc. is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging and patient care in a high-volume setting. You will operate radiographic equipment, ensure safety and provide excellent patient experiences.

The schedule includes Thursday and Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., and every other weekend; ARRT registration and state license are required within 90 days of hire. Competitive benefits are offered, including health, retirement, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Certificate or diploma in Radiography required.
• Associate's degree in Radiography preferred.
• ARRT registration or eligibility within 90 days of hire.
• Radiologic licensure as applicable by state.

Responsibilities

• Confirm patient and exam accuracy through identification and history.
• Explain exams and safety protocols to patients with sensitivity to needs.
• Position patients and adjust equipment for each study.
• Perform diagnostic imaging using radiographic, fluoroscopic and portable equipment.
• Apply radiation safety principles and ALARA for patients and staff.
• Review images for quality and transmit to PACS for Radiologist interpretation.
• Document exams and patient data accurately in the systems.
• Respond to emergencies and support infection control and safety.
• Collaborate with Radiologists, nurses and technologists to ensure workflow.
• Maintain professionalism with patients and colleagues under stress.
• Support department operations with coverage and workflow adjustments.
