Job summary

Regal Rexnord in Auburn, AL is seeking a Quality Technician to perform quality control tests and inspections at various stages of production. The role involves recording and analyzing data, and suggesting improvements to standards and procedures.

The ideal candidate has up to 3 years of experience, reads complex drawings, and is proficient with SAP. On-site work with regular 40-hour weeks and possible overtime is required.

Qualifications

• Reads complex drawings and Bill of Materials; understands manufacturing processes to meet drawings and specs.
• Able to read and verify various gauges used in the plant.
• Communicates effectively in English; may write summaries and reports.

Responsibilities

• Read complex drawings and BOM, and have working knowledge of manufacturing processes.
• Decide if parts meet specs and issue scrap tickets for non-conforming product.
• Attach inspection reports and balance records to SAP.
• Learn and operate Zeiss CMM/Keyence machines.
