Zusammenfassung

Thales USA, Inc. is seeking a Quality Management System Auditor in Salt Lake City to assess the effectiveness of our quality management system and ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and AS9100. You will plan, conduct, and report audits, identify nonconformities, and drive corrective actions with cross-functional teams.

The role requires 2+ years in QA/auditing (or 4+ years with ASQ CQE), strong communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. Some travel and onsite work are expected.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Quality, or related; with at least 2 years in quality assurance or auditing.
• ASQ Certified Quality Engineer with at least 4 years internal auditing experience.
• Experience applying ISO 9001:2015 and/or AS9100 Revision D in manufacturing environments; completion of internal auditor training.

Aufgaben

• Plan and independently plan assigned audits by reviewing prior findings, process performance, changes, risks, QMS documentation, and corrective action records; define scope and timing with stakeholders.
• Conduct internal process and QMS audits via interviews, observation, document review, and evidence sampling; perform supplier assessments and verify corrective actions.
• Evaluate audit evidence against requirements; document clear findings and opportunities for improvement; elevate significant concerns.
• Facilitate opening and closing meetings; present audit reports; coordinate evidence for customer audits and external certification.
• Coordinate corrective action follow-up with process owners; evaluate actions; monitor commitments; verify implementation.
• Maintain accurate audit records and metrics; analyze trends and recommend improvements to processes and audit practices.
