Job summary

Dauch Corporation is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineering Manager to lead the Alamance Manufacturing Facility in Mebane, NC. This onsite role partners with plant leadership to optimize manufacturing processes, improve labor efficiency, and drive continuous improvement in a Tier 1 automotive environment.

You will manage a team of industrial engineers, develop labor standards, conduct time studies, balance lines, and support launches and ramp-ups while upholding safety and regulatory

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field is required.
• 7+ years manufacturing experience in automotive or Tier 1 environment.
• Experience implementing Lean manufacturing and CI methodologies.
• Proficiency with Excel, Power BI, and manufacturing reporting tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills.
• Excellent communication and leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Leads and develops a team of Industrial Engineers and CI professionals.
• Establishes goals aligned with plant and corporate objectives.
• Manages workload prioritization and resource allocation across projects.
• Coaches, mentors and performs performance management for staff.
• Develops labor standards, production rates, and staffing models.
• Conducts time studies, work measurement, and line balancing.
