Job summary

Axon is hiring a Quality Inspector for our Mesa, AZ location to inspect raw, in-process, and finished goods in alignment with Axon's 7S standards. You will perform tests, read engineering drawings, and document results while collaborating with engineering and quality teams to drive continuous improvement.

The role requires an Associate degree or equivalent experience, familiarity with ISO quality concepts, and proficiency in MS Excel. Onsite work with competitive benefits awaits.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or equivalent Experience.
• IPC-A-610 certification (Preferred).
• Green Belt Certification (Preferred).
• Experience with ISO standards and quality concepts.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, Project, PowerPoint.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, product specifications, procedures and standards.
• Excellent written, oral communication and technical report writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct routine and non routine tests and inspections of raw, in-process and finished goods to evaluate quality or performance.
• Read and interpret technical data and specifications to conduct inspections and tests.
• Perform push and pull testing using Mark-10 equipment to qualify parts or gather data for engineering.
• Conduct non-destructive and destructive testing on materials to qualify and aid root-cause investigations.
• Maintain laboratory testing and measurement equipment.
• Monitor procedures to ensure conformance to standards.
• Maintain the QC database and record results accurately.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to solve quality issues.
