Job summary

Talently is seeking a hands-on Quality Leader to drive robust QA/QC on the Mesquite production floor. You will lead the quality team, implement PPAP and inspection programs, and manage NCRs, MRB, and field returns while partnering with operations, engineering, and suppliers to resolve issues.

The role requires Lean/Six Sigma knowledge, blueprint reading, and proven people management to foster a strong quality culture and data‑driven improvements on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• Hands-on QA/QC experience on the production floor.
• Experience training and developing QA staff.
• Familiar with PPAP, NCRs, MRB, inspection and corrective actions.
• Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, SPC and capability studies.
• Familiar with ISO 9001 quality systems.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality team and oversee daily production-floor quality activities.
• Implement incoming, outgoing, and PPAP inspection programs and maintain consistent inspection practices.
• Manage NCRs, nonconforming materials, MRB and quarantine activities, RMAs, field returns, and product repairs.
• Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for production defects, supplier issues, product failures, and customer complaints.
• Partner with Production, Engineering, Purchasing, suppliers, and customers to resolve quality problems and improve processes.
• Maintain control plans, SOPs, inspection procedures, calibration processes, and quality reporting.
• Use SPC, capability studies, and quality data to identify trends and drive continuous improvement.
• Develop team capability and foster a quality‑focused culture through coaching, training, and practical production‑floor improvements.
