Job summary

Axon is seeking a Manufacturing Quality Engineer II to join the Global Quality team in Scottsdale. You will influence the full product lifecycle, ensuring high-quality manufacturing processes and compliant products that meet customer expectations.

You will lead CAPA, 8D, and RCA activities, develop FAIRs and PPAPs, and support NPI validation and risk mitigation. Strong collaboration across manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers is essential in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, Quality Engineering, or related discipline.
3+ years of experience in a production/manufacturing quality engineering role.
Experience with CAPA, RCA/8D, PPAP, FAIR, PFMEA, and validation activities.
Certified Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt or equivalent.
Strong knowledge of IPC-A-610 and industry standards.
Proficiency in MS Office and statistical software such as Minitab/JMP.

Responsibilities

Participate in product lifecycle quality deliverables including CAPA and validation plans.
Lead nonconforming material review and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
Drive 8D investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Develop and maintain FAIRs, PPAP docs, and AQL sampling plans.
Support Receiving Inspection with Gage R&R studies and MSA.
Support NPI validation, process control, and PFMEA risk mitigation.
Interface with manufacturing, engineering, and design for yield improvements.
