Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
  • Experience in quality, manufacturing, or process engineering in automotive.
  • Proficient with quality tools and data analysis.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and specs.

Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day quality support for production and containment of issues.
  • Monitor quality metrics like PPM/IPPM, FTQ, CPV, and customer feedback.
  • Facilitate 5-Why, fishbone, PPS/8D problem-solving; ensure corrective actions.
  • Collaborate with manufacturing, maintenance, and engineering to drive BIQ.
  • Support PPAP, run-at-rate, trials for launches and changes.
  • Maintain quality docs per QMS and regulatory requirements.
  • Champion safety, quality, and continuous improvement in area.
