Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management.
• 5+ years of Construction Management experience on USACE projects.
• Experience establishing quality control systems in compliance with contract requirements.
• Experience using Army RMS/QCS system.
• Credentials for USACE Construction Quality Management for Contractors.
• OSHA 30-hour Safety Training within the last 5 years.
• First aid/CPR certification.
• Strong knowledge of construction plans, specs, shop drawings, and QC testing.

Responsibilities

• Oversee construction projects from start to finish with a focus on quality control.
• Lead meetings to align on standards of care and ensure documents are signed off.
• Verify materials meet submittal approvals and are stored properly.
• Document and communicate daily QC findings and non-conformances.
• Review plans, specs, and cost data to identify quality risks.
• Review shop drawings and submittals for conformance.
• Perform tests to verify control measures meet contract requirements.
• Oversee subcontractors to ensure QC and safety compliance.
• Maintain daily as-built drawings and project QC reporting.
• Prepare and maintain the project submittal log and RMS/QCS records.
• Document inspections and re-inspect non-conformances.
• Verify government approvals and certifications.
• Assist with project closeout documents.
• Exercise stop-work authority to resolve safety/quality issues.
• Advise on changes to methods and materials.
