Job summary

Kokosing, a leading General Contractor, seeks a Project Based QC Manager to plan, direct, and supervise quality control activities on active construction sites. This role is onsite in Point Pleasant, WV or Shippingport, PA and involves coordinating with owners, regulators, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure quality standards are met.

The candidate will develop QC procedures, conduct audits, and lead QC personnel while ensuring compliance with contract requirements and company programs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent combinations of technical training and experience.
• 4+ years of related/ applicable experience in quality control.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quality control procedures and review other department procedures for compliance.
• Prepare, obtain approval, issue and implement QC program manual in compliance with contract requirements.
• Conduct audits and nonconformity investigations as per the QC program manual.
• Provide administrative and technical direction to all QC personnel.
• Coordinate with owner, regulators, subcontractors and internal departments on quality matters.
• Ensure QC standards are implemented and corrective actions taken for noncompliance.
• Assist in responses to RFQs/RFPs regarding QA and QC programs.
• Perform internal/external audits to ensure QC requirements are maintained.
