Job summary

Kokosing, a leading general contractor, seeks a Quality Control Engineer to oversee QA/QC on diverse construction projects nationwide, with assignments in Point Pleasant, WV or Shippingport, PA.

You will review blueprints, manage inspection plans, coordinate with project teams, and ensure adherence to design specifications, safety standards, and documentation requirements throughout all phases of construction.

Qualifications

• Read blueprints and other technical drawings and documents.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team and use MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Control quality per project plans and specifications.
• Maintain an effective quality control system.
• Prepare and submit accurate documentation of all quality control activities.
• Write and submit quality inspection and testing plans.
• Assist the project team with preparation and submittal of work plans.
• Communicate with project leadership to ensure quality expectations are met.
• Ensure subcontractors and vendors provide required quality and documentation.
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction, or program modifications.
