Job summary

Kokosing is seeking a Quality Specialist to oversee QC on construction projects across roads, bridges, and utilities. You will implement quality control plans, inspect work in the field and office, and collaborate with project teams to ensure adherence to specifications.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering or construction management and at least 3 years of QC experience in construction. On-site work in Point Pleasant, WV or Shippingport, PA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, construction management or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in a quality control role or construction field engineering.
• Strong reading of blueprints and technical drawings.
• Effective communication, both written and verbal, with diverse teams.

Responsibilities

• Control quality according to project plans and specifications.
• Prepare and submit quality control documentation and inspection/test plans.
• Perform onsite and offsite quality inspections of self-perform and subcontracted work.
• Communicate quality issues to Project Manager and teams, stopping work if needed to uphold standards.
• Provide periodic quality reports describing overall project quality health.
• Assist in preparing work plans and ensure subcontractors meet required quality standards.
