Job summary

AECOM is seeking a Quality Control Inspector to ensure federal facility repairs in Kauai, Hawaii meet project requirements as hurricane recovery work progresses. You will inspect materials and workmanship and document findings to support prompt corrective actions.

This onsite role requires a valid driver's license, US citizenship, and the ability to coordinate with field teams, with per diem eligibility and strict adherence to safety and quality records.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and 6+ years of construction quality control inspection experience on facility or infrastructure projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
• Ability to pass a Motor Vehicle Records (MVR) check.
• U.S. Citizenship is required.

Responsibilities

• Inspect assigned repairs for conformance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
• Inspect materials and workmanship and identify damage, deviations, or incomplete work requiring correction.
• Maintain inspection reports, photographs, checklists, and deficiency and corrective action records.
• Coordinate inspections and testing with field teams and qualified testing personnel; review supporting records.
• Track nonconforming work, communicate findings, and verify corrective actions through follow up inspections.
• Support punch lists, final inspections, and turnover documentation while following site safety and access requirements.
