IEM is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer for our Fremont, CA manufacturing site. The person will support Quality and ISO 9001 across the organization, work with product and manufacturing teams, and report to the Quality Manager.

The role requires 100% in-office presence in Fremont, CA. Key duties include PFMEA, process documentation, data-driven quality monitoring, and collaboration with Engineering for continuous improvements.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Engineering or related discipline.
• Experience in quality assurance in manufacturing.
• Familiarity with ISO 9001 QMS and UL/CSA standards.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to develop documentation and reports for management.

Responsabilités

• Collate, analyze and monitor process and quality metrics against objectives.
• Write technical reports on quality levels, problems and cost of quality.
• Improve manufacturability, assembly, testability, cost and quality of components and final product.
• Monitor product performance through data collection and statistical reporting.
• Lead PFMEA and new program implementation identifying and mitigating risks.
• Ensure manufacturing processes meet customer and industry specifications.
