System One seeks a QC Technician in Lyndhurst, NJ for a contracted, onsite role. You will evaluate products and materials for QA compliance and run daily testing, reporting results to supervisors and plant personnel.

The position requires a HS Diploma or higher, experience in QC labs (0-3 years), and familiarity with SAP, Excel, Outlook, and Teams. Lifting up to 40 lbs is required; standard hours 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• Min HS Diploma; BS Chemistry or related science preferred
• Few months up to 3 years of hands-on experience in a QC laboratory; recent graduates are encouraged to apply
• Experience with wet chemistry techniques such as scales, titration, and viscometer
• Basic laboratory skills including data recording, testing, and instrument calibration
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment with a strong customer and quality focus
• Familiarity with SAP, Excel, Outlook, and Teams is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 40 lb boxes of finished products

Responsabilités

• Evaluate company products, raw materials, and intermediates for conformance to specifications and ensure compliance with QA standards
• Perform daily evaluation and approval of finished product, raw materials, and intermediates, reporting results promptly
• Work collaboratively with other technicians to maintain efficient workflows and communicate findings to supervisors
• Maintain proper database entries and generate statistical analyses using SAP, Excel, and Teams
• Perform physical testing, visual checks, and record data focusing on low viscosity polyurethane sealants
• Calibrate, control, and maintain laboratory instruments; ensure inventory of supplies and chemicals
• Assist in long-term testing, housekeeping, and paperwork such as scanning data
• Develop computer skills for improved data recording and analysis
• Work independently with minimal supervision and suggest process improvements
