Job summary

System One is seeking a QC Technician in Lyndhurst, NJ for a contract on-site role. You will evaluate products, raw materials, and intermediates for conformance to specifications and support QA standards.

Responsibilities include daily testing and reporting, data entry in SAP/Excel, instrument calibration, and collaboration with technicians to maintain efficient workflows. The position requires lifting up to 40 lbs and independent problem solving.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; BS chemistry or related science preferred.
• Few months to 3 years of hands-on QC laboratory experience.
• Experience with wet chemistry, titration and viscometer helpful.
• Strong data recording, testing, and instrument calibration skills.
• Ability to work in a team with strong quality focus.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate products, raw materials, and intermediates for conformance to specifications.
• Perform daily evaluation and approval of finished products with timely reporting.
• Collaborate with technicians to maintain workflows and communicate results.
• Maintain database entries and generate statistical analyses using SAP, Excel, and Teams.
• Conduct physical testing, visual checks, and record data for polyurethane sealants.
• Calibrate and maintain laboratory instruments; manage inventory.
• Lift up to 40 lbs as required.
• Support long-term testing, housekeeping, and documentation tasks.
• Develop computer skills for better data recording and analysis.
• Work independently with minimal supervision and suggest process improvements.
