Job summary

Procon seeks an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to support a FDIC design-build program in Arlington, VA. The role requires on-site QA inspections, documentation of defects, and coordination with contractors to ensure compliance with drawings, specs, codes, and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree in construction management or engineering, plus experience inspecting construction or renovation projects and documenting findings precisely.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Experience performing QA inspections on construction or renovation projects, federal/commercial capital project exposure preferred.
• Knowledge of building codes, contract drawings, specs, and quality requirements.
• Ability to document deficiencies, inspection findings, and corrective actions clearly.

Responsibilities

• Conduct on-site QA inspections of workmanship, materials, and equipment for compliance with drawings and specs.
• Verify materials delivered meet project requirements and track progress.
• Coordinate inspections with contractors, suppliers, and inspectors for electrical, structural, welding work.
• Document defects, variances, and corrective actions; maintain inspection logs and photos.
• Support project closeout, punch list, and closeout documentation.
