Job summary

Procon is seeking an experienced Quality Assurance Inspector to support a FDIC program in the Arlington, VA area. This on-site role requires assessing workmanship, materials, and compliance with drawings, specs, and codes.

You’ll document deficiencies, maintain inspection logs, and coordinate inspections with contractors. Preference given to candidates with ICC or CQM-C certifications and ability to navigate active work sites with PPE.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Experience performing QA inspections on construction/renovation projects, preferably federal or commercial.
• Knowledge of building codes, specs, and quality requirements.
• Ability to document deficiencies and corrective actions.
• Attention to detail; maintain inspection logs and reports.
• Ability to work independently on active sites with stairs and ladders; wear PPE.
• ICC or CQM-C certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• On-site QA inspections of workmanship, materials, equipment.
• Verify materials meet requirements and assess progress.
• Coordinate inspections with contractors for electrical/structural/welding work.
• Document defects and variances.
• Maintain defect logs and corrective actions.
• Photograph and document pre-existing conditions and progress.
• Coordinate test schedules and reports.
• Support closeout activities and punch list.
• Prepare QA reports and logs.
