Job summary

Sharp Decisions is seeking a Quality Assurance Tester in Little Rock, Arkansas, onsite. The role focuses on ensuring the quality and reliability of cloud-based software, with responsibilities spanning test planning, automation, and collaboration with developers to integrate tests into CI/CD.

You will develop and execute tests for APIs using Postman and automation with Playwright, review defects, and help evolve testing strategies to improve product quality and efficiency for the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• Experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts for functional and non-functional testing.
• Perform testing and debugging of new and existing application software.
• Design, execute, and automate API testing using XUnit and manual testing using Postman.
• Collaborate with developers and Platform Engineers to integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline.
• Identify and report defects, track and prioritize issues, and ensure timely resolution.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality and efficiency.
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices in quality assurance and test automation.
• Develop and evolve test plans for complex applications.
