newlevelresources in Ventura, CA is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager to own daily purchasing execution, supplier performance, and inbound material coordination for our manufacturing operations.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage lead times, negotiate supplier contracts, coordinate international shipments, and maintain ERP-driven inventory parameters to ensure reliable material availability.

Formación

• 5+ years of progressively responsible experience in purchasing or materials management within manufacturing.
• Manufacturing purchasing experience including supplier relationships and execution.
• Import management with international shipments and Incoterms knowledge.
• Experience with ERP/MRP software; NetSuite preferred.
• Strong Excel and data-analysis skills.

Responsabilidades

• Issue and track purchase orders and secure supplier commitments; resolve lead-time delays.
• Negotiate supplier agreements and conduct focused sourcing and contract negotiations.
• Coordinate inbound material flow, shipments, customs, duties, and landed costs.
• Maintain safety stocks, reorder points, and order quantities in ERP.
• Develop supplier scorecards and report on performance, costs, and lead times.
• Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Operations on new products and changes.
