Job summary

New Level Resources is seeking an experienced Purchasing Manager in Ventura County to own daily purchasing execution, supplier performance, and inbound material coordination. This on-site role reports to the General Manager and will manage an existing vendor base to ensure material availability for manufacturing operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing purchasing, strong ERP/NetSuite knowledge, and proven negotiation skills.

Qualifications

5+ years of progressively responsible experience in purchasing or materials management within manufacturing.
Experience with supplier relationships and purchasing execution.
Strong analytical and Excel skills with data-driven decisions.

Responsibilities

Issue and track purchase orders, secure supplier commitments and resolve delays.
Maintain supplier agreements, conduct sourcing, qualification, and negotiations.
Coordinate inbound shipments with freight forwarders and customs brokers.
Set safety stocks, reorder points, and order quantities in ERP.
Develop supplier scorecards and report on performance and costs.
Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Operations on new products and changes.
