Job summary

Condominium Associates, Inc. is seeking an Maintenance Technician in Tampa, FL to perform routine maintenance, repairs, and inspections across the community. The role supports safe, clean common areas and amenities while delivering strong resident service.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, a valid Florida driver’s license, and at least one year of general maintenance experience, with painting, plumbing, electrical, and drywall skills. Position requires after-hours response as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid Florida driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Painting experience is required.
• Minimum 1 year of general maintenance experience in HOA/condo/apartment environments preferred.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, drywall repair, and building maintenance.
• Ability to operate hand and power tools safely.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs to common areas, buildings, amenities, and community equipment.
• Conduct regular inspections to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns.
• Complete work orders in a timely, professional manner.
• Perform preventative maintenance on lighting, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, irrigation, and mechanical systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and appearance of common areas and facilities.
• Assist with pool area inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and after-hours calls when required.
• Operate tools and equipment safely and manage maintenance inventory.
• Communicate with residents, vendors, and management about requests and updates.
• Document completed work and maintenance issues for reporting.
