Job summary

Wood is recruiting for a Project Manager and Site Lead to join its Operations Americas team. This on-site role is based at a chemical facility near Parkersburg, WV.

You will manage projects supporting the facility and lead the site engineering team’s activities. You will coordinate scope, schedule, cost, and quality, develop execution plans, lead safety initiatives, and align with Wood’s engineering and operations standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering with at least 10 years' PM experience.
• Manufacturing/chemical plant experience required.
• Experience leading site teams (site lead or dept head).
• Strong customer relations and team leadership capabilities.
• Solid project management skills and cross-discipline coordination.
• Proficient with MS Word, Excel and Outlook; strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Prepare a clear scope and obtain client acceptance for each project.
• Develop a Project Execution Plan scaled to project size.
• Resource planning to execute projects efficiently.
• Provide guidance to ensure scope, schedule, and cost objectives.
• Communicate scope changes to clients and obtain authorization.
• Track scope, schedule, cost, and quality trends.
• Lead regular project meetings and update stakeholders.
• Oversee project completion and closeout.
