Job summary

Hanover Iron Works, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Project Manager to oversee misc. metals projects from start to finish on site in York, PA.

You will manage timelines, budgets, client coordination, and quality control, ensuring smooth progress and exceptional outcomes. Day-to-day you’ll work with the Detailing Manager on steel detailing and surveying of shop drawings, collaborate with subcontractors, negotiate change orders, maintain As-Built drawings, and preserve strong client relationships

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating and supervising subcontracted vendors.
• Ability to read specifications and blueprints to determine material requirements.
• Proficient with MS Office and project management software (MS Project, Primavera).
• Strong organizational skills for maintaining project documents.
• Excellent communication with stakeholders; valid US driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage steel detailing and surveying of shop/fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors to ensure project progress.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders; maintain As Built drawings.
• Create and establish schedules; coordinate with contractors and trades.
• Maintain positive client relationships through clear communication and organization.
