Job summary

Hanover Iron Works, Inc. is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to oversee steel projects from start to finish, coordinating detailing, schedules and budgets onsite in Hanover or York, PA. You will work with the Detailing Manager and drive project progress through effective planning and communication.

You will collaborate with subcontractors, manage change orders, and maintain "As Built" drawings while ensuring client satisfaction and timely delivery of high-quality results.

Qualifications

• Experience with steel fabrication and erection processes.
• Ability to coordinate subcontractors and vendors.
• Proficient in reading specifications and blueprints.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office; knowledge of project software.

Responsibilities

• Oversee steel detailing and surveying of shop/fabrication drawings.
• Collaborate with subcontractors and vendors for project progress.
• Prepare and negotiate change orders; maintain 'As Built' drawings.
• Create and establish schedules; coordinate with contractors and trades.
• Maintain positive client relationships and ensure timely project delivery.
• Read specifications and blueprints to determine material requirements.
