Job summary

FORTNA is seeking a Project Manager to own the scope, schedule and budget for material handling projects. The PM will coordinate with the internal project team, vendors, subcontractors and the customer, with an on-site presence from First Access to project completion.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field and 5+ years in the material handling industry or site project management, with strong scheduling, budgeting and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, or Construction Management.
• 5+ years in the material handling industry or site project management.
• Experience managing a department or focused work team.
• Experience with detailed scheduling and coordinating multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Manage projects up to $40M budget.
• Coordinate with internal teams and subcontractors and customers.
• Schedule and maintain engineering activities.
• Develop solutions to installation and mechanical issues.
• Recruit and evaluate talent for the department.
• Make tactical decisions and ensure execution.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
