Job summary

Jacobs is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and deliver complex programs for a client site in New Orleans, LA. You’ll manage the project team, oversee development from conception to completion, and ensure scope, budget, and safety meet program objectives.

The role requires 5+ years in engineering/construction PM, with a focus on cost control, schedule, and multidisciplinary coordination. PE/RA is preferred but not required; strong client relationships are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in an Engineering discipline, Construction Management, or Architecture.
• 5+ years of experience as a Project Manager in an Engineering, Environmental or Construction organization.
• Experience managing projects of $50 million+
• Advanced working knowledge of contract management, pre-design, pre-construction, renovations, demolition, and new construction building systems/components and technology
• Experience with various the disciplines, trades and systems related with an emphasis on full project delivery
• Strong people leadership skills along with building and maintaining client relationships
• Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) (preferred but not required)

Responsibilities

• Based at the client site in New Orleans, LA you’ll be responsible for managing the project team and the overall project delivery, but also for the management of the project development from conception through completion in accordance with program objectives.
• As the onsite Owners Representative, you’ll be responsible for ensuring not only the progress and technical performance of a project, but also the material management, schedule, cost, scope and safety of the team.
• By developing and delivering on project scopes, budgets, reports, contracts, and schedules, you’ll help our team achieve our client’s objectives.
• Your keen ability to multi-task, communicate effectively and tackle project challenges will allow you to thrive in our fast-paced environment.
