Job summary

DRMP, Inc. seeks a Project Financial Analyst in Orlando to partner with project managers and teams. You will blend disciplined project accounting with forward-looking analysis to improve setup, forecasting, revenue recognition, billing readiness, and margins, supporting proactive financial actions.

You will lead validations, dashboards, and training to ensure accurate financials and timely decisions. Onsite collaboration with PMs and business leaders drives project success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent project-finance experience.
• 3+ years in project accounting or project financial management.
• Knowledge of WIP, ETC/EAC forecasting, revenue recognition, and billing.
• Proficiency with Excel; Deltek Vantagepoint and Power BI preferred.
• Ability to clearly communicate financial concepts and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Partner with PMs to develop ETC and EAC forecasts based on scope and risks.
• Conduct recurring project reviews; analyze burn, margin trends, and backlog.
• Provide validated project data to FP&A and leadership with dashboards.
• Translate reports into actionable insights and track follow-up actions.
• Manage monthly revenue-recognition inputs and project costs for accuracy.
• Coordinate with PMs and billers on invoice readiness and collections risks.
• Identify staffing and schedule risks affecting forecast performance.
• Set up and maintain projects in Deltek Vantagepoint with correct terms.
• Review contracts and changes for financial terms and risks.
