Job summary

Kokosing Construction Company, Inc. is seeking a qualified engineering professional to coordinate and manage onsite construction engineering for Heavy Highway and bridge projects in Westerville, Ohio. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Construction Management and 5+ years of relevant experience.

You will be responsible for ensuring project compliance with regulations, providing technical support, and overseeing pre-construction services. We offer a competitive compensation package including medical, life, and disability insurance.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of similar construction engineering experience preferred.
• Bridge experience is a strong plus.
• Registration as a Professional Engineer is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Manage project engineering and related personnel functions.
• Ensure compliance with company and contract requirements.
• Provide technical support for construction efforts.
• Represent company during A/E, client and project management meetings.
• Oversee all pre-construction services and design-build services.

Skills

Advanced knowledge of construction engineering technology

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to manage a team of varied disciplines

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management
