Job summary

Geosyntec Consultants, Inc. seeks a Project Controls Specialist to support Sandia National Lab in Albuquerque, NM. This onsite, 2-3 year contract requires strong project controls, cost and schedule analysis, and DOE Q clearance with US citizenship.

You will work with technical leads to develop cost plans, schedules, and variance analyses to guide decision making. The candidate should have a minimum of five years in project controls and experience with Primavera P6 and Earned Value Management.

Qualifications

• Five (5) + years of project controls experience.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Weapons Product Realization Process (systems/components).
• Experience in schedule development and maintenance including building and updating project timelines, milestones and deliverables.
• Active DOE Q clearance and U.S. citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, prepare, validate, and maintain cost estimates, baseline budgets, work package agreements, and monthly cost variance reports.
• Provide detailed analysis and reporting of project status within established project controls.
• Analyze forecasts to identify issues and enable timely project responses.
• Develop and manage project schedules, monitoring, and integrated change control with technical leads.
• Collaborate with managers to influence key project decisions related to scope, schedule and budget.
