Job summary

Johnson Service Group (JSG) is seeking a Project Control Specialist for a 12-month contract in Chattanooga, TN. This onsite role leads project controls and serves as technical lead for team processes and tools.

The candidate will monitor cost and schedule performance, implement standard PM methods, and coordinate with multiple stakeholders to ensure accurate reporting and timely forecasting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required in a related field.
• PMI or AACE certification desired.
• U.S. citizenship required and ability to obtain/maintain unescorted plant access.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and track progress, variances, KPIs, and control changes.
• Analyze cost and schedule trends against baselines; advise management on improvements.
• Implement standard methods for project performance monitoring, reporting, analysis, and forecasting.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to input data into PM tools and software.
• Prepare and distribute project and work management reports (progress, financial, risk).
• Support project prioritization, change requests, lessons learned, and work authorization.
