Job summary

Energy Northwest is seeking a Project Controls & Assurance Analyst to provide expert business consulting across Capital and O&M projects. You will lead with minimal supervision, ensuring strong financial controls, schedules, and cost management in line with GAAP and contractual requirements.

You will coordinate with project managers, monitor variances and risks, and provide actionable recommendations to recover cost and schedule deviations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in project management, business or finance or equivalent experience.
• Progressive experience in project scheduling, budgeting, or risk management.
• Experience with project controls software (MS Project, Primavera P6) and cost tracking.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Project Controls oversight of Capital and O&M projects per EVM principles.
• Develop project cost schedules using project estimates and PM input.
• Monitor performance against baselines; analyze variances, forecasts and trends.
• Provide monthly analyses and financial summaries to managers and Corporate Finance.
• Support onboarding and training of new Project Controls staff.
