Job summary

Global Technical Talent is seeking a Project Controls Professional in Richland, WA. This contract role supports Capital and Operations & Maintenance projects, providing independent oversight within Corporate Finance and ensuring accurate costing and risk management.

The role emphasizes EVMS methodology, schedule integration with P6, and cost analysis. Hybrid onsite flexibility allows up to 25% remote work for an 8-month contract; U.S. work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Earned Value Management methodology and Project Controls experience.
• Detail variance analyses.
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 and MS Office suite.
• Formal training on Primavera P6 or similar PM system.

Responsibilities

• Assist with development of project scope; prepare level 1–4 detailed schedules using P6.
• Integrate cost estimates and schedule to create a cost-loaded projection.
• Analyze schedule deviations and report on cost/schedule impacts.
• Evaluate real-time cost data and recommend corrective actions to avoid overruns.
• Develop ETC to ensure accurate forecasts and project health updates.
• Produce reports for management on scope changes and funding requirements.
• Track budget projections and communicate impacts to Nuclear Development team.
• Implement schedule changes approved by leadership.
• Provide earned value reporting and data metrics.
• Process journal entries to accrue for work and correct mischarges.
