Job summary

Saylor Consulting Group seeks a full-time Programmatic Safety Compliance Officer to support Central Contra Costa Sanitary District in Martinez, CA. The role focuses on standardizing program-wide safety templates, reviews, and documentation for construction safety across multiple projects.

The position emphasizes in-person work at the wastewater plant, adherence to Cal/OSHA, and collaboration with safety staff, project managers, and contractors.

Qualifications

Must hold CSP or CHST certification and OSHA 30-Hour training.
Minimum 5 years of dedicated construction safety experience.
Experience supporting safety programs at operating wastewater or water treatment facilities.
Familiarity with Cal/OSHA construction safety regulations and site safety plans.

Responsibilities

Establish and implement programmatic safety compliance services across projects.
Standardize submission, review, and documentation of contractor safety information.
Review submittals for compliance with contract requirements and standards.
Conduct field safety inspections and track corrective actions to closure.
Coordinate with plant operations and project teams to plan safe activities.
